I Got My license

Happy 6 months!

MAYAH is 6 months old today!

She slept till 7 this morning which is very late for her. We are normally starting our day at 5. She was so happy and all smiles when we got her out of her bed. She is getting so big and growing way to fast. She has her first tooth and if she can get a hold of your finger she would love to show you. IT HURTS! She is on all fours and her legs have the hang of crawling but she is still working on getting her hands moving. That does not stop her from getting EVERYTHING that she wants. She knows that she can roll, scoot, and crawl to get places. If that doesn't work then she will let out a little scream to let you know that she needs help. She still loves to get up every morning and watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. She has even started bouncing as soon as the songs start to play. We have a talker on our hands. If she is not sleeping or eating she is talking away. Her favorite is to talk to the dogs. She has the most adorable laugh and cracks up for some reason when we sing to her. She is eating solid foods now. She loves prunes! She will eat carrots, green beans, sweet potatoes, apples, and bananas. She has really eaten anything that we give her. I hope that it stays that way. It took a while for her to get the hang of eating solids, but now she is getting really good at it. She will tell you about 630 that it is time for food and will scream till you give it to her and milk is not good enough.


Our little baby is growing up so fast. We just love being with her. She makes our days full of laughs and smiles even if we are not having a good day. We love you so much Mayah. happy six months!

Lubbock

We had such a great time in Lubbock visiting our family and friends. We went down for a week hoping that it would be plenty of time to see and visit with everyone, but little did we know it would have been good to have a few more days.

One day Micah, Mayah, and I drove down to Sudan to see Tara, Haden, and Masyn. We had a great time. So much fun that Micah has started talking about how he would like to live there one day. I loved going to school there and wish that I could have stayed there through high school. It is such a great town and I made wonderful friends.

It was great to talk to Tara and let Mayah and Haden get to know each other. They just talked and laughed with each other it was really cute. Micah let Haden know that Mayah was not allowed to date until she was 30. (right like that will happen but we let Daddy believe it)

Masyn is such a cute and sweet little girl. She was so quiet and content going through Mayah's diaper dag and my wallet. She would get a wipe and wipe her hands and then run it to trash and repeat the process. Little kids just love wipes!

Before we left we wanted to get a picture of all of them together. It was not the easiest picture to take but we did get many cute ones. Masyn giving the little ones big hugs!

Summer update!

We have been so busy this summer I have not had much time to update. Little girl keeps us so busy and when she is napping that is my time to rest.

We went to to see my aunt, uncle, and cousins in Colorado and had a wonderful time!

The butterfly pavilion is right down the street from where my uncle lives so we went to see the butterflies. Mayah loved watching them fly all over the room. I wondered what was going

through her mind.

The Budweiser brewery is in Colorado so we decided to go and take a tour. It was so interesting getting to walk around and see how the beer is made. Next time we go we are going to pay for a private tour so we can go down where they make the beer and see it up close.

I just am not a beer person. It does not get along with my taste buds.

Ian had a baseball game while we were there so we decided to go cheer him on. Micah and Mayah stayed back at the house for a nap and Dee got sick while we were there. The rest of us has a great time and Ian did a great job!

My Aunt and Uncle have a camper and decided to take us to Wyoming for the Fourth of July weekend. I am not a big camper but we were not in a tent and had a great time. Micah and I are now talking about when we get the money it would be fun to have one of our own.

Thought we would go swimming in Colorado but Mayah did not stay in too long. The water there is a lot colder than in Texas!

Micah wanted to go eat at The Buckhorn Exchange while we were in Colorado. It was fun and they had so many different animals to eat. Micah was trying all kinds of new things and I stuck with chicken!

When we got back to Texas we did a lot of resting and relaxing. Plus we had to get Mayah back to her schedule and use to Texas time. We had so much fun in Colorado and can't wait till we get to go back. We love you Abbie, Ian, Aunt Cindy, and Uncle Bryon. You were wonderful hosts!

Mayah is eating cereal now. She still does not like it much but we are getting to the point that I can fet her to eat about three bites before she throws a fit. Each time she eats she gets a little better. I am just hoping that she is going to eat like her dad and not be as picky as her mom.

We went to Olive Garden to eat for my Aunt Kristi and Brayden's birthday. Alyssa was in town for the summer. It is always great to see her. I wish she lived closer.

Mayah is really wanting to crawl. She is getting up on her hands and knees and will rock but has not gotten the hang of crawling yet. I am sure it will not be soon. Then Micah and I will need a lot of help keeping up with her. She is always into EVERYTHING!!
