We have finally gotten to the last week!

It is finally the last week of school before Christmas Break!

I have decided that they give us the two week break so that we will come back. I am so tired and just need some time off. My class is wonderful and I love being here, but I am just getting tired and the kiddos are too.

I had a wonderful time at my shower in Lubbock and got many great gifts. Now I just can't wait for Mayah to get here so she can try on her cute little outfits and use her new stuff!

I came home yesterday to Micah trying the stroller out around the living room. It was quit humorous. He was even practicing having to go around obstacle that might get in his way. He was practicing using the dogs!

I am now officially 32 weeks pregnant and only have 8 more weeks to go.

Micah and I went to meet the pediatrician yesterday and we really like her. I think she is going to be great for us and Mayah!

Micah is still waiting to hear back from the police station to get the status on hiring him so please keep him in your prayers. He has put in so much hard work and determination. Now it is his time to get that job he is wanting so bad! I love you honey!

one down only two more to go!

This week is finally over and now there are only two more until the Christmas break!! YEAH!!

I really had a pretty good week. It actually snowed on Tuesday which was fun and believe it or not my class was very well behaved that day and normally when it snows they are just so excited that they have a really hard time listening.

In my class we have been learning about different countries and their traditions which is one of my favorite things that we do during the year and my class is really enjoying going on their pretend adventures.

Thursday I had a doctors appointment which went very well and I was really not there that long. They checked my weight and blood pressure and then listened to little Mayah's heart beat. The doctor told me that I was doing fantastic and have been a wonderful patient so of course now I get to walk around with my big head ! :)

Today went by fairly quickly and I just got done cleaning up my classroom and so now I am ready to get my bag ready to take home and head out the door. I hoping that my husband might take me to a movie tonight. I am really wanting to see The Blind Side!

Thanksgiving

Oh my gosh last week was so busy and now I am so tired! I can't wait to get off work and go home and take a nap. We finally get a vacation and I did not have one day to just lay around and rest.

My busy schedule:

Wednesday: Family dinner and movie in the back yard

Thursday: Thanksgiving dinner and staying up till midnight to start our shopping! :)

Friday: shopping that started at midnight and did not finish till 3:30, short nap, and then dinner at my Aunt's house.

Saturday: Up early to get ready for the Tech game so we were at the cowboys stadium ready to tailgate by 11, game at 5, and didn't leave the parking lot till 10:30.

Sunday: I had my first baby shower at my Aunt's house. Baby Mayah got so many wonderful things. Thanks to all my friends and family that came. I really did have a great time and appreciate all the great gifts!

Today I am back to work and really did not think I was going to make it through the day. My class was working on their journals this morning and I was not sure if I was going to be able to keep my eyes open. Hopefully I will get to bed early and tomorrow we are starting our Christmas around the world unit so was should have fun day! :)

Happy Birthday Mammaw!

This weekend was my grandmother's 75th birthday so we had a surprise birthday at Logan's. She was so upset because she thought we had all forgotten, but the look on her face when she walked in was priceless. I think it made up for her being a little sad that morning! After the party my mom, Micah, and I went shopping to find me something to wear to my baby shower next weekend. I found a cute dress at JcPenney's now I just need to find some leggings to wear underneath.

After today only one more day of school and then on my Thanksgiving break. It really stunk to have to get up this morning and get ready for work while my mom was getting to sleep in since her school got out on Friday. I am looking forward to this week with Thanksgiving, our big and EARLY plans for black Friday, the Tech Baylor game, and then my shower. It is going to be busy and fun!! :)

MMA Fight!

Micah and I had a great weekend!

On Saturday we got up and went to Jackson's soccer game and then had lunch. After lunch the girls went to a Scentsy party at my aunt's house while the boys and kiddos hung out at our house. It was funny to see how many times the boys house would call the girls for different things. I really do not know how they ever survived without us! :)

When the party was over Deana and I went and got ready to go to a MMA fight with the boys. To tell you the truth I really was not looking that forward to it. Deana and I agreed to go because the boys really wanted to go and one of the guys that Deana works with was fighting. We went to eat at Third Base and then walked over to the Stars Practice Center for the fight. It was really cool when we got there and we had good seats on the floor. Once the fights start I have to admit I really got into. It is completely different then watching the UFC on television.

Although we had a great time at the fights, I am not too sure that Mayah did. Every time that a new fighter walked out and his music started BLARING she would roll into a ball and it would feel like she was trying to escape from my stomach.

Sunday we went to register for Mayah baby gifts at Target and Babies R US. Micah and I found tons of stuff at Babies R Us, but we did not have as much luck at Target. I just did not really like most of the stuff that they had and there selection is just not as big. I hope that I gave everyone enough choices, but we will be happy with anything and everything that we get! :) I can't wait to have my showers they are going to be so fun!

Scare

I had to go to the doctor on Monday to take a Diabetes test. I went in and had to drink some orange drink in five min. and because I was so hungry it was not that hard. I thought they would then take some blood and then I would be done, but to my surprise she told me I had to wait an hour and then she would take my blood. The nurse told me that I could go home if I would like but just make sure I was back in an hour and not to put anything in my mouth. Which of course then you are dying of thirst and hunger. I really did not know how I was going to make it. This was a pregnant woman who now had not had anything to eat for 6 hours. I got home and laid on the couch to watch a little TV before heading back up to the doctor. They took my blood and then told me that they would call if there was anything abnormal, but if I didn't hear anything then it was all good.

Well...Yesterday I looked at my phone after I sent the kids home and I had a message to call the doctor and of course then I start think of anything and everything bad that they could have to say. What was I going to do if they told me I was diabetic and not to eat sugar. Micah would not want to live with me if that happened. So I called them back and they did not answer so I left a message and after waiting an hour I began calling every 15 min. I just could not handle not knowing what they were going to tell me. After the fifth call I finally got to talk to the nurse and thank goodness she told me my glucose level was great and that it was my iron was low do the doctor wanted me to start taking an iron pill.

So to wrap up this long story everything is ok and I just need a little more iron. I do have more energy now that I am taking it. I just thought I was so tired because of the baby!

Weekend fun!

We had a great time in Lubbock visiting family and friends. It just stinks that we are not able to spend more time down there. By the time we get into town it is like we have one day to try to fit everything in, and it NEVER happens.

We went to the Tech game on Saturday which was not fun at all. We had fun before and after, but the game itself was very disappointing. It is sad to see a team with so much potential to bomb like that.

We got up early Sunday to run and visit Micah's grandparents before we met Lori and Lee for lunch. We then headed out to visit my grandparent for a little while before we got back on the road for Dallas. We got into town about 8, but it seemed so much later.

Lubbock!!

We are getting ready to drive to Lubbock to see Micah's family and go to the Tech A&M game. I am really excited to get back to Lubbock it seems like we have not gotten to go down there in forever. Plus Mayah is getting excited to get to hear the voices of her Grandma, Aunts, and Uncles for the first time. I feel really bad that I am getting close to 6 months pregnant and have not gotten to see Micah's family at all. It really stinks to have to live so far away and be so busy all the time. Only if we could slow down time just a little bit.

I have had a great week at school with my wonderful Kindergartner's. They are such a wonderful and sweet class. I have a little boy that brings me an apple every once in a while and he has the best timing on knowing which day I really could use a pick me up. It is amazing how good a five year old giving you an apple can make you feel. I really think it is look on their face when they hand it to you! They are just so sweet.

I guess I need to get my classroom picked up and things ready to go so we can get on the road. I hope everyone has a safe and wonderful weekend!

Not too Exciting

We took it easy this weekend and it was very nice to get to relax and catch up on my napping. Friday night we went out to the horse races with my Dad, Terri, and my sister. They were having live races which are always more fun. Saturday we cleaned the house and then had the family over for the Tech game.WAY TO GO RAIDERS!! Sunday Micah and I laid around the house watching movies and Brayden and Jackson came over while their mom and dad went to work.

We are hoping to have a more exciting weekend this weekend. We are hoping that we are going to get to go to Lubbock to see family, friends, and Tech beat up on A&M.

Weekend Fun!

We had a pretty busy weekend. On Friday we went to Liam's birthday party at the pool where Micah and Jackson had a really good time going down the water slide. It took quit a bit of convincing to get Jackson to go down the first time, but once the first time was over he was hooked and did not want to stop. After the party we went over to Mrs. Carter's house, a co-worker and Liam's grandmother. Where Jackson started calling her Memaw and milking everything that he could get out of her. It was really funny. He sure did know how to work the system.

Saturday we got up and went to Jackson's soccer game and then down to Harry Hines to look for fabric so my mom can get started on Mayah's nursery. I was so excited the first place that we walked into had exactly what I was wanting. We are going with different pink and brown fabrics and we are going to use an accent color of lime green. I can't wait for my mom to get some of it done so I can post a picture because I really think it is going to be way cute!! :) That night we went to go and watch Tech beat up on Kansas over at Andy's.

Sunday we were not planning on doing much, but we went to have breakfast with the Keller's and then started running errors with them. The boys got to pick out their Halloween costumes and Brayden has finally decided to be something new this year. I think he has been the grim reaper for the past three or four years.

Monday my mom and Aunt had the day off so they were wanting to go to the fair. I had a teacher in service day, but when I got done I meet them up there. I got my fill of fair food, which is the ONLY reason that we go. I felt like as soon as I finished one item it was on to find what I was going to eat next. Jennifer and I really wanted to try the fried peaches and cream, but the line was so long that I am sure that we might have been there all day so we decided to pass on those.

Breaking news: So you all know that Micah and I are having a little girl in Feb. and we have picked a name, but this weekend we decided to change the spelling just a little bit. We are going to add an 'h' to the end, so it is going to be Mayah!

Sick

I am finally starting to feel a lot better. The nurse here at school sent me home sick on Friday and I was miserable all weekend. Micah and my mom were wonderful nurses. They had me all lock up in the room with two vaporizors going and I think I was dipped in a bottle of vick's. Every time I got out of the bed even to go to the bathroom Micah was right there asking me what I was doing. I really did feel like their prisoner, but I guess for prison I had a pretty nice set up. Today is the first day that my head, body, throat, and ears are not hurting.

Micah has been out the house working on new animations and watching the four dogs that are now living at our house. We have our two winnie dogs, my sisters dog piglet, and her other dog Sadie who is a bull mastiff and she is HUGE. She is only about 7 months old and acts like a puppy, so just think of a 75lbs puppy running through your house. Micah is really having a good time, it looks like he has been hit by a truck everyday when I get home from work. I guess to make you really understand what he has been going through I need to tell you that they seem to be getting sick one at a time so we get one well and then the next one gets something, so there is quit a bit of cleaning that is going on.

I REALLY NEED TO SEND MICAH ON A VACTION!!

Micah just put netflix on his xbox so we have been home bodies lately and watching all kinds of movies. He and his friend Brandon have been staying up late watching who knows what. I know last night I got up to Micah laughing so hard that he was sitting on the couch crying. I guess through netflix and the xbox you can talk to each other as you are watching a movie together and with those toy boys there is no telling what was being said during that TERRIBLE movie.

After work we are suppose to be going to my cousin's, Zach, football game. Hopefully the rain will stop and he will get to play. It seems like everytime he has a game that is when the rain comes. We are very pround of him for the great job that he is doing this year. His Dad got his grades for the first six weeks and he did a fabulous job.

IT'S A GIRL!!

Ok so it has been a really long time since I have been on. Our summer was so busy and we moved into a new house so there was no time for the computer. I am back at school with a new group of kindergarteners! They are a great class but Mrs. McNeely is starting to get really tired. There are a few that just require a lot of my time, but they are a very sweet bunch. I think we are going to have a great year.

Well the BIG news is that I am over 5 months pregnant (21 weeks to be exact) and Micah and I found out on Monday that we are going to have a baby girl, Maya Elizabeth!! :) Micah was so nervous sitting in the waiting room. At first he thought he wanted to have a boy, but then started to realize how much he would love to have a Daddy's girl. I have always thought that it was going to be a girl! We are getting so excited and it was so nice to have my mom, sister, and Aunt Kristi bring in huge pink bags full of little girl clothes. You know my family is so full of little boys that most of the hand me downs are just not going to work. So I have gotten my mom on the sewing machine! :)

Baby!

It has been a while since I have posted anything. Once school has gotten out we have been so busy with my sister's wedding stuff that it seems like we never have any time for anything else. My mom has been working so hard I think there are days or even weeks at a time that we do not see her come out of her room from all the sewing that she is doing. I am sure she can not wait for Mexico to get here.

Some other big news that Micah and I got this summer is that we are expecting a BABY!! We are both really excited although I think Micah is going to go insane having to wait to find out if it is a boy or girl. I of course think that it is a girl and he thinks that it is going to be a boy so I guess on of us will be right! My mom is with me wanting a little girl and my dad calls me every day to check on his grandson.

Well I think Micah and I are going to go work out so I will have to finish later. I hope everyone is having a wonderful summer!

In the past week we have been really busy! We went to the make up concert for Kenny Chesney, the Rangers Basball game, Brayden school store, and of course Mother's day. I have added some pictures of all of the things we have been doing lately!

Only 8 1/2 more school days left and then SUMMER!! :) I can not wait!

Lindsay came in town!

I had such a busy and great weekend. Lindsay and Adian came into town for the Kenny Chesney concert on Saturday. They got into town on Friday and stayed the night with us. It was great to see them and catch up we had not seen each other for about 6 months. We got up and went to Sam Moon to do a little shopping before the concert and I also talked her and Micah to going to Kohl's to get a new outfit to wear to the concert. We were really worried about the rain, but the concert was on no matter what and we were going to go even if that meant sitting in the rain. When we got to the concert it was nice out and not raining, but as soon as the music started it was like it opened up the clouds and out came the rain.

There was not way that we were going to leave and we thought that they would surly cancell, but they didn't. Kenny finally came out on the stage about 9 and after he sang 3 songs it started a down pour and I am telling you I think it was the hardest rain I had ever seen. Deana and I had to run get the car in shin high water and bring it to the front gate so Adian would not get so wet. Then because of the rain and the flooding we decided to stay at Deana's house.

Sunday Lindsay and I took Adian to the aquarium before they left town. We had a great time and Adain made us laugh so hard when he stepped on a leaf and started screaming and crying. We thought that he had cut his foot open and then he told us that a sting ray and got him.

We had a great weekend and I can not wait for Lindsay to come back next weekend so we can do it all over again. but hopefully this time we will get to see Kenny without the rain! :)

I LOVE THE PIG FLU!!

Becasue of the swine flu school was cancelled the first part of the week so I got to hang out with Micah! We had Brayden and Jackson come spend the night with us and we went and had dinner with Jennifer and Ryan. I was very sad when I got the phone call telling me that I was going to have to come back to school on Thursday. It was a very nice second spring break. I really think that they should make it and every year kind of thing! :)

Wedding Time!

We had a wonderful weekend that we got to spend with my Dad's side of the family. My cousin Shana got married on Saturday on a catamaran on Lake Lewisville. We had so much fun!

On Thursday we went to play golf with my cousins and my Dad. Deana and I had a great time trying to go as fast as we could in the golf carts and pick up the golf balls. It was so windy and Deana did not bring a hair tie so I had to put her hair up with chip clips it was really funny! :)

On Friday I got to sleep in and then we went to the horse races! I love the number 8 horse and for some reason it was not doing so well that night.

On Saturday we got up and went to play paint ball with my mom's side of the family. It was an extension to Zach's birthday. I had so much fun, but my thighs are still burning! We left there and then had to race home to shower and get ready for the wedding. Shana and Angela came over about 3 to get their hair and make up done. Then off to the wedding. After the wedding we went to Shana's uncle and aunt's house for the reception.

The worst day EVER!!

Friday night we went to eat dinner at Fudrucker's for my cousin Zach's birthday. We had lots of fun catching up and laughing about all the fun things we plan to do at Dee's wedding. We are also planning on going to play paint ball next Sat. which is always fun with my family. As we were leaving Jackson decided that he needed to come and spend the night! He came over and we watched a movie. Jackson really wanted popcorn so Micah told him he would make him some if he would give him a foot rub. So Jackson agreed and it was way cute I wish I had my camera.

Then began the Saturday THE WORST DAY EVER!!! Jackson woke us up about 830 and then we watched a little TV. As we were getting dressed Peanut decided that he would pee on the floor and as I was telling him to go get in his house he decided to jump on the bed and finish there! Micah and I then chased him through the house until he ran into his cage. Micah continued to study and get dressed because he was going to take the fire exam for Denton at 1:00. Jackson and I decided to get out of the house and go to Wal-Mart to let Micah finish studying. I was suppose to go up to UNT at 1:00 to walk for the Relay for Life. My mom called me and asked me to go and get her and my sister lunch because they were working on wedding stuff up at her school. I went to get lunch and then when I went to pay I realized that Micah had gone off to take his test with my debit card. So embarrassingly I had to tell the man at the counter I was going to have to come back because I had left my money. When I got into the car a guy almost pulled in to me where I started asking myself what else is going to happen and to my surprise this was just the beginning! It was not 15min later that Micah called me and told me he had just run into the back of someones car and was now waiting on a police officer to get there. It was now 12:30 and Micah is thinking that he is not going to make it to his test. I called my mom in tears and asked her to try and call the fire department to see if he could be a little late, but no one answered and on the paperwork it said that if you were late you would not be able to test. Once the officer got there it was 12:45 and he was not able to leave until 1:00 so we decided that he should go up there and see if there was anyway that he could get in and he could show them the officers paperwork that he had given Micah. When he got there all the doors were locked and he was unable to get in the building so he was very disappointed and had to turn around and just come home. I told him to stop and get something to eat on his way back and it was then when I got the phone call from him that the card was being declined. I immediately got on the internet to check the account and we were fine so the bank and I both had no idea what was wrong. All I could do was cry and feel sorry for my wonderful husband who is trying so hard and things are just not working out for him. It is just not fair!

Needless to say I was unable to make it to the Walk that morning and had to cancel on my team. The rest of the day we hung out with my mom, cousins, sister, and Brad and we started feeling better. That night I realized that we may have had a HORRIBLE day, but I was still blessed with a wonderful family and the BEST husband I could ask for. God has a plan for all of us and we may not know for sure what ours is going to be, but I have faith and with prayer and hard work we will rise above all the problems and make GREAT things happen with our lives! I am really excited to get to the point in my life where Micah and I can look back and see how God's wonderful plan worked out for us!

Today is Sunday and we are feeling a lot better! I am up here at my mom's school AGAIN working on wedding stuff! Deana, Brad, and I have a soccer game tonight at 7:45 so Micah is really excited that it is not one of our late games.

FINALLY!!

What a weekend!

We have finally gotten Deana and Brad's wedding plans for Cozumel all worked out and everyone has their conformations. It took a lot of long hard work from many people to get them all finalized, but now we can relax knowing that everything is done and all that is left is the packing!! :) I can not wait to be sitting on the beach with no worries and have beverages brought to me all day! What a way to relax!


Friday and Saturday Micah and I hung out and went shopping with our great friends Jennifer and Ryan! We found wonderful deals and lots of clothes that made Jenn look beautiful! I also found tons of great things that I thought I needed, but Micah was really proud of me and I said No to ALL of them. There have not been very many times that I could do that. Micah is wanting a new gun and every time that we get the money and go into buy the thing they are not in stock. So now we have spent the money on something else and is having to wait till next pay check. The poor guy walked into the store this weekend and they have five of them, but now he does not have the money. I tell him that maybe it is a sign that he does not need the gun, RIGHT!?! Although now that I said that I think he is going to wait and get a more expensive one. I guess I should have kept my mouth closed. I am always doing that!

Sunday we had a great Easter! This morning my mom colored my hair. I am trying to get it to my natural color so I will not have to mess with it anymore. My natural color is apparently darker than what I remember because we keep getting darker and darker, but I think that we might have gotten the right color this time! I hope or I guess the next color is going to be black, I don't know that I can find a darker brown! We went over to my Aunt's house and hung out with the family and ate a wonderful dinner prepared by the master chef SID! Then the adults got to have their Easter egg hunt which was very fun! In my eggs I got tickets to the Rangers game and in my other one I got 4 really cute margarita glasses. I can't wait to use them!!

SPRING BREAK!!

Kaitlyn and Charlie came to Dallas for spring break to stay with Micah and I! We had so much fun. Micah was a little scared because he was not sure what to do with little girls and they did not get his sense of humor, but he did a great job! We went to the zoo and the aquarium while they were down here. We also went shopping and let the girls build a bear which Charlie decided that she liked the tiny bear I had at my house better and she wanted to trade. :)

What a weekend that we had! We went to Houston to wantch my cousin in his gymnastic meet. We had to wait to leave until everyone got off work and we got all the dogs ready to go. We then meet up at Deana's house and started loading the cars where Sadie decided to pee and poop in her front seat. So then we had to unpack her car and switch over to Brad's by the time we got all this done we did not end up leaving Dallas until 8:30. When we arrived at our "suite" Kristi told us that she unlocked the door and we could just go into suite 26. Micah and I walked up to the door and when I turned the knob it was locked and there was a man sitting on the couch. We did not know what we were going to do because it was midnight now. We stop the security guy and told him that there was someone in our room and he told us that we just needed to go to the front desk and check in again! Micah of course wanted to go up to the door and take care of it himself but if chicken wife would not let him I told him that it could be a crazy man in there with a gun. So I talked him into going to the front desk with us where come to find out the people that were in there were suppose to be in suite 67 so I guess they thought that 26 looked nicer and they would just use that one. SO finally at 1 in the morning we finally got in a room.

We had a wonderful weekend. Micah was not feeling well so he did not get to go to work and so we got to spend the weekend together. He is feeling a lot better now! On Saturday we went to eat with Deana and the we went to look at puppies, where we saw Big Black at the pet store. Micah was really excited and called everyone. Deana feel in love with Mastiffs so she started doing research on them. The next thing we know we are driving to Lewisville to look at a Bull mastiff. She was soooo CUTE!! Deana and Brad decided that she would make a good addition to their family and bought her!! Micah and I can not wait to get our own place so that we can get one of our own. We are thinking about breeding them when we get one! They decided to name her Sadie!

This week here at school my class as come down with the flu so over half of my class mostly girls are gone. So we are having a fun relaxing day and I am getting to work one on one with my students which I always really enjoy. I am not just having to drink tons on orange juice and taking my vitamin C so I don't end up with too.

We can't wait till this weekend because we are going to Houston with my aunt, uncle, and cousins for Brayden's gymnastics meet. I am really excited because I know it is going to be so much fun!

Micah and I had a wonderful weekend and great Valentines. We went to eat at Sullivan's and then went to see a play. We saw "I love you, Your Perfect, Now Change." It was very funny and even Micah enjoyed it. I would suggest if you get a chance to see it you should. Micah gave me a new GPS for my gift and I am loving it so much. I love it so much I am using it even when I am going place that I have been 100 times! I just have the best husband EVER!


Micah has been working very hard and has now decided that it is time to get started on his own company. He and his friend have got the process started and seem very dedicated to having a very successful business. I am so excited to see what the future will have in store for them. I know that it will be everything that they are dreaming for.

Today is the first day that I have started our blog. Today has been just a regular old day at work. Can't wait to go home and take it easy.
